Here’s my review of The Ultimate Happiness Journal. This is a personal post to see for myself if  it’s really worth buying or is it just hype.

Is it FOMO that’s making everyone buy into the idea that journaling is the best tool for self care and personal growth?

I was not swayed by this journaling tidal wave. But this changed recently when I was gifted The Ultimate Happiness Journal.

I decided to try it for a month and if the habit did not stick, perhaps journaling was not for me. As motivation to stay the course, I decided to write a review of The Ultimate Happiness Journal.

Well, I stuck it out and I’m so pleased to say it’s one of the best things I ever did. More of the impact it had on me later.

This is a simply structured journal that anyone can use. However, it hones in on key issues that give way to introspection and personal growth.

The simplicity of the happiness journal from font to layout is great for newcomers to journaling.

My experience with the Ultimate Happiness Journal

I started the happiness journal expecting to fail as I had done so many times with journaling before.

But I wanted to see what all the hype was about so I diligently made time to journal daily.
It was the wakeup call I needed to make some essential changes to my life. I had been living life on autopilot and giving priority to everything but myself.

I have to admit that The Ultimate Happiness Journal convinced me that journaling is a superpower I need to embrace. Guess what? I’ve graduated to a proper journal.

I took steps to change my life when I set my goals for 2020.

Just how did this simple happiness journal impact my life?

Using the Ultimate Happiness Journal was a lightbulb moment for me.

I realized that happiness is invoked by:

  • Acts of kindness to loved ones and strangers
  • Showing gratitude
  • Smiling

Of course, I knew all of this before completing the Ultimate Happiness Journal but I had taken them all for granted when I started blogging.

How I improved my life

 

I researched productivity and time management and came up with a structure to my days that works for me.

Then I started a morning routine to devote to journaling and other self care practices to start my day off on a positive note.

Journaling is an awesome self improvement tool. It’s amazing how simply writing in a journal can be so beneficial to your mental health.

If you’re facing difficulties in life, a great way to work your way to a solution is to journal about it.

    I put this on my birthday and Christmas wish list because I think it would be great to reflect on the good parts of my day. I also never stick with journaling but I totally need to. I think it really helps you express yourself and let go of stress to a certain extent. Thanks for sharing!

      I could never stick to journaling but this helped me to develop the habit.Just try it when you’re worried about something. You will be amazed at your feelings after a few entries in your journal.
