Here are some helpful tips to make a vision board that empowers you:
1. Take time to gather your thoughts before making your board. A great idea is to free write in your journal before starting the process. These journal prompts may help.
2.Really think about what you’d like to accomplish, maybe even make a deadline for when you would like to have your goals accomplished. For example, if you’d like to save a certain amount of money by next year, add that to your board.
3.Include your affirmations on your vision board
4.Keep it organized. Don’t clutter your board but do incorporate the smells, sounds, feelings you have about a particular goal. For example, if you want to travel to India, use words that evoke the smell, sounds and emotions you have as if you’re already there.
5.Make it motivational and empowering by using personal photographs, pictures, affirmations, quotes, inspiring messages, symbols, lines from songs
6.Keep it where you will see it every day. Each time you pass the vision board, spend a few minutes reading your affirmations and other texts out loud. By reading your affirmations aloud, you are planting the seed to believing the things you want. Remember to write things as I WILL succeed, not I may or I can.
